Description Yates Advanced Garden Insect Killer is an effective insecticide used to control a broad range of pests on ornamental plants and vegetables in the gardens. Spray foliage thoroughly when pest activity is activated. Add the required quantity of Yates Advanced Garden Insect Killer to water and mix thoroughly. Do not mix more spray than can be used on the day of mixing. Do not spray if it is raining or about to rain. See note on plant safety. Ornamentals: Pest - Grasshoppers Rate - Mix 6 mL per 1 litre of water Application - Spray plants directly when pest insects are seen. Adequate coverage of plant is essential for effective protection. Repeat as necessary. Ornamentals, Broccoli, Brussels Sprouts, Cabbages, Cauliflowers, Tomatoes: Pest - Aphids, Bugs (e.g. passionvine hopper, mealybug, lace bug), Caterpillars, Garden weevil, Whiteflies, Thrips Rate - Mix 2 to 4 mL in 5 litres of water Application - Spray foliage thoroughly when insects are first seen of if they reappear. Spray underneath leaf surfaces. Native Plants: Pest - Sawfly larvae Rate - Mix 6 mL per 1 litre of water Application - Apply thoroughly as a full cover spray. Repeat at beginning of renewed pest activity. Withholding Period Tomatoes – wait 1 day after spraying before picking Vegetables – wait 7 days after spraying before picking CAUTION Do not allow chemical container or spray to get into drains, sewers, steams or ponds. Dangerous to fish. Cover fish tanks or ponds before using. Do not spray if bees are feeding on flowering plants. Will kill bees. Children and pets may re-enter the treated area after the spray has dried. Since the susceptibility of ornamental varieties can vary, it is recommended to test the product on a small number of plants first in order to assess the level of plantmsafety. Storage & Disposal Store in the closed, original container in a cool, dry place out of reach of children. Do not store in direct sunlight. Dispose of the empty bottle by wrapping in paper, placing in a plastic bag and putting in the garbage.
