Mulching around the base of the plants will also keep the soil temperature more constant and create a barrier for female cucumber beetles trying to lay their eggs in the soil.HARVEST Harvest when fruits are no longer than 6″.COMPANION PLANTING Dill, tansy, catnip, yarrow, castor bean, wormwood, nasturtium, mints, and marigold will help to deter beetles.DISEASE RESISTANCE This variety is fairly resistant to Powdery Mildew and fungal pressure.
